Highlights
①Visit Kokufu-ten Exhibition
An annual exhibition held in February at Ueno Metropolitan Art Museum.
It has also been known as a world-famous show since a variety of bonsai works is gathered up and shown. Ususally about 250 bonsai trees are displayed and those levels vary from the highest-class. The features attract many bonsai lovers even from overseas so that over 10,000 people come visit every year.
②Lunch at the Bonsai Restaurant Omiya
③"Kokedama" Moss Ball Making Workshop
This workshop takes place at the Bonsai Restaurant Omiya.
Maki, who has a good knowledge about Bonsai and Kokedama, shows you how to make and grow the moss for you to make your own lovely Kokedama and take care of it.
To prevent your dress from getting stained with soil, bringing an apron and a towel is recommended.
④Visit The Omiya Bonsai Art Museum
